Well, let's see moving to Florida has been a slight challenge to say the least. he he he as in an adventure we will never forget. You know because we LOVE a CHALLENGE :)
So other than the fact that we were ripped off and rented a townhouse that was in a not nice neighborhood we are doing great. It only upsets me because we watch our pennies and try to save, but you have to do what you have to do sometimes. And OF COURSE our family was worth the extra expense of now renting the house we moved into this past weekend!!! Thank the LORD we are now safe and in a good neighborhood. The only down side is that it is a little further from Tampa, but hey- it has enough space, takes our pets, and even a small pool out back which our kids are dying to get into.
Friday we went to Bush Gardens with my cousin Heidi & her daughter Makenna :) It was great!!! We were supposed to go Thursday, but there were really bad tornadoes across the state and storms throughout the day. It's all good because Friday was the perfect not hot, not too cool day and we had a BLAST!!! It is great seeing our kiddos playing and laughing together...not to mention us adults too!!! :)
So after moving in on Saturday partially anyway we had to take Joanna to the doctor. She is fine just bad congestion which is miserable for a baby when they are trying to sleep. She is doing better now which is good because we have finally gotten some sleep :)
Sunday we finished moving here and put things in their place as much as we can for this temporary home (we plan to be here 3 months or less- until we can buy a home). So how do you celebrate moving in and all the wonderful help your children seriously gave you- go to Dairy Queen!!! They have a mini blizzard now for the month of April perfect for children and they LOVED IT!
Monday we went at the last minute to Sea World. Since our passes are good for any Bush theme park through the end of June we are taking advantage of it while we can.
Today we went shopping a bit- one of our favorites- IKEA!!! We didn't have lots of time, but it was fun to have an IKEA close by.
Tomorrow- my grandma's 90th Birthday is the BIG DEAL!!!! I will be posting plenty of pictures about it!!!! Excited to spend some time with family and celebrating my grandmother's life - she and my grandfather were Salvation Army ministers most of their life and I know she has witnessed to so many! Praise God for that!!!!!
Well....sorry no pictures, but now that for real we are somewhat settled I will be back to the blogging world. Whew! You just never know how the crazy life will take you on a wild ride! Just praising God for a safe place :) Thank you so very much for all of your prayers!!!!!!
