So this from our picnic time before our longest hike.....to Abram's Falls about a 5 mile round trip. Not too bad, but it stretched us all. Especially since daddy was carrying our little bundle, and between us we were both dragging the littles along. It was fun though and worth the challenge.
As you can see that after the picnic we had to look for good skipping stones and play a bit :)
Look who woke up in time for the hike? Hey how was the nap??
After that long hike we couldn't resist......had to jump in....the hike wore us out....and what a blessing the cold water was. Ummm.....excuse me Joanna.....did you realize you have put your fingers in my mouth? Good thing you look so stinkin cute!
This was the view we hiked for! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!
a wee bit behind on the blogging.....today was our first official day of school. It went pretty well for the most part, but a little overwhelming. As a home school mom.....honesty is that it is a lot of work, but I know it is worth it. So we charge on knowing tomorrow will be better, and once we are in the groove it will be even better. More on that to come......and of course more on our visit to the Johnson's sometime soon. :) Oh yeah, and we have a visit from bloggy friends this Wed & Thurs too!!! Love it. If you have ever thought to yourself I wonder if my bloggy friends are as cool as their blog- YEP!!! We have met up with around 10 blog friends....and they are ALL GREAT FAMILIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you have an adoption story to tell......some friend are working on a book......see details here http://tobuildafamily.blogspot.com/ maybe you could chip in a story or be a part of this. Wouldn't it be great to inspire others to seek God through adoption? Silly question really :)
